O nosso hostel vinha recomendado nos guias pelas excursões que organiza. E nós, apesar de habitualmente não sermos esse género de viajantes, acabámos por ir até à Muralha da China com mais um monte de pessoas, simplesmente porque esta era a forma mais simples e económica.
Valeu muito a pena!
E chegar até ao fim da muralha (ainda que tenha sido apenas até ao fim do troço de 2,5 km a que fomos e que tenhamos feito apenas metade disso, porque só andámos para um dos lados) foi muito bom e vai sempre deixar-me feliz.
Lá em cima a luz é de um verde azulado e a paisagem é incrível. É muito cansativo subir, apesar de a distância não ser assim tanta. Mas estar lá em cima foi mesmo uma das melhores coisas que fiz na minha vida. A sensação é muito muito boa.
E depois... descemos de escorrega :)
Facto: 8.850km é o tamanho total da Muralha.

Our hostel was recommended in the guides because of their organized trips. And although normally we are not that kind of travelers, we ended up going to the Great Wall of China with a bunch of people, simply because this was the easiest and more economic way.
It was worth it!
And getting to the end of the wall (although it was only until the end of a stretch of 2.5 km of which we only have done half, because we went only to one of the sides) was very good and will always leave me happy.
Up there the light is bluish green and the landscape is incredible. The climbing is very exhausting, although the distance is not that big. But being up there was one of the best things I did in my life. The sensation is very very good.
And then ... we went down in a slide:)
Fact: 8850km is the total size of the Wall.
